Leave may be granted to implead the Special Land Acquisition Collector, Bankura as a party respondent (respondent no.10) in the writ petition. The petitioners complain that despite acquisition of their land by the respondents they have not been granted compensation for the same.

The petitioners filed two separate applications dated 20th July, 1987 for payment of compensation and 20th December, 2019 for land looser certificate. The applications dated 20th July, 1987 and 20th December, 2019 have not been disposed of till date. The petitioners seek a direction for disposal of the said applications.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the added respondent no.10 to consider and dispose of both the applications dated 20th July, 1987 and 20th December, 2019, respectively after affording an opportunity of

hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid direction, WPA 3176 of 2020 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
