The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the illegal and wrongful issuance of bills raised by the WBSEDCL. On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that they have only one electricity connection and there are billing disputes.

On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that there are three separate connections being enjoyed by the petitioner and the total dues are in excess of Rs.2 lacs.

In view of the disputed question of facts which arise for consideration and the fact that the disputes between the parties primarily relate to billing dispute, WPA 4206 of 2026 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO)

having jurisdiction to adjudicate upon the dispute between the parties.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions are left open for the concerned GRO to decide in accordance with law.
