1. The affidavit of service is taken on record.

2. The petitioners' pray for a direction on the Chief Engineer, Head Quarter, Public Works (Roads), /respondent no.5 to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioners to the said authority on 3rd January, 2023. The representation was made for claiming the compensation, which admittedly forms part of the Memo dated 20th July, 2021. The compensation of Rs.27,46,102/- was resolved to be given on account of increase in prices of Bitumen for construction of the road in Murshidabad. The amount of compensation was also decided as aforesaid.

3. W.P.A.4163 of 2023 is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondent no.5 being the Chief Engineer, Head Quarter, Public Works (Roads), to

consider and dispose of the representation dated 3rd January, 2023 and come to a reasoned decision by 12th June, 2023. The petitioner no.2 shall be heard by the concerned respondent and a copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to the petitioner no.2 by 19th June, 2023.
