AGP Ms. Munmun Ganguly ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities of Haripal police station, no steps were taken in spite of cognizable offence having been made out by the private respondents.

Mr. Yusuf, learned AGP, appears and submits a report which reflects that Haripal P.S. Case No. 84 of 2025 dated 21.02.2025 was registered for investigation on the basis of the complaint of the present petitioner.

Having considered that the police authorities have acted on the

representation of the petitioner, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

However, the police authorities are directed to put in efforts to take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4200 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
