The petitioner alleges unauthorized construction of a residential building at the instance of respondent nos. 6 and 7 on the relevant plot of land. The petitioner's representation appearing at page 37 of the writ petition suggests that the allegation pertains to a cemented construction (chatal). The representation dated 23.01.2025, appearing at page 38, also does not clearly indicate the nature of the construction. The application under the Right to Information Act, 2023, appearing at page 36 of the writ petition, merely shows that the petitioner sought information as to whether permission had been obtained from the Panchayat for the construction of the said residential building. In view of the contradictory stand taken by the petitioner, as evident from the annexures to the writ petition, I dispose of the writ petition with a

direction upon the Gram Panchayat, Talgachhari-I, Ramnagar, Purba Medinipur, to provide the information sought in the application appearing at page 36 of the writ petition within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order, based on records available with the Panchayat. The petitioner shall be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law based on the information received from Panchayat.

Accordingly, WPA 4204 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all legal formalities.
