Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the sons of the petitioner were granted bail by the jurisdictional court. Petitioner is 71 years of age.

Learned advocate for the State draws the attention of the court to the materials in the case diary. She submits that one person suffered grievous hurt.

Two persons apparently suffered injuries in an incident of assault. One of the injured suffered grievous hurt of fracture of nasal bone. Such injured person named the petitioner as the assailant causing such injury to her.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the incident we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
