An inspection report is filed on behalf of learned counsel for the WBSEDCL which indicates that at the present juncture there is an existing submersible pump at the locale and it is feasible to give electricity supply there.

It is further submitted that a quotation has already been raised in that regard by the WBSEDCL.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the quotation amount has already been deposited by the petitioner.

In such view of the matter, there is no further impediment to give an electricity connection to the petitioner for the purpose of running his submersible pump at the premises-in-question.

Accordingly, WPA 4174 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to give a new electricity connection to the petitioner at the premises as per the

petitioner's application within a fortnight from date subject to compliance of all due formalities by the petitioner.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
