Mr. Sitangshu Sekhar Shit, the Block Development Officer of Jangipara Block, has appeared before the Court to answer the Rule.

Affidavit-of-compliance is taken on record.

It appears that the order of demolition has been passed. Although the compliance is highly belated, but in view of the apology tendered, the delay is condoned.

Under such circumstances, the contempt proceeding is dropped. The rule is discharged.
