1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in the subject Pure Science (Pass) at Egra Swarnamoyee Girls' High (HS) School, Purba Medinipur.

3. The petitioner has made an application for transfer on own seeking on the ground of distance.

4. The said application is pending.

5. The respondent no. 6 is directed to consider such application, strictly in accordance with law and the decision of this Hon'ble Court and if satisfied, shall issue the requisite No Objection Certificate and

forward the same to the respondent no. 5 by April 30, 2026.

6. If the application is allowed, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur, will take all consequential steps to expedite the matter.

7. Temporary suspension of 'Utsashree Portal' will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode.

8. With these aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

10. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
