Mr. Soumyajit Sinha Roy, Mr. Rapan Roy ...for the petitioner Ms. Chaitali Bhattacharjee, Mr. Manas Kumar Sadhu ...for the State Mr. Shayak Chakraborty, Mr. Abdul Zahid ....for the respondent nos. 4 and 5 The petitioner complains that the private respondent/sister-in-law has thrown her out of the said residence after the death of her brother. Admittedly, both the petitioner and the private respondents are illegally occupying the government land.

In those circumstances, the Officer-in-Charge, Lake Town Police Station shall forthwith intimate the Dum Dum Municipality and the Executive Engineer, PWD, having jurisdiction on premises No. 43, Dakshindhari Road, Rishi Arabindo Colony, P.S. Lake Town, Kolkata - 700048 and ascertain as to which department of the State the land in question belongs to. Urgent and immediate steps shall be

taken by the concerned State department to evict all unauthorised persons from the said property.

In those circumstances, no relief can be granted to the writ petitioner in the instant writ petition.

W.P.A. 4190 of 2023 shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
