The petitioner is aggrieved that his application for issuance of permit submitted with the statutory fees on February 5, 2025, has not yet been considered by the respondent authority.

Heard learned advocate for the petitioner as well as the State respondent.

Having perused the records and hearing the submissions of the learned advocates appearing for the parties, the Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent no.2, to consider and dispose of the petitioners' application for issuance of permit on Route No.201/Auto, from "Salt Lake to Belghoria", within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioner.

The said respondent shall pass a reasoned order, if not the prayer of the petitioner is allowed. In that case, the order of the respondent no.2 shall be communicated to the petitioner, within one week from its date.

The writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit has been called for, allegations made in the writ petition, shall be deemed to have not admitted by the respondents.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the parties, on compliance of all necessary formalities.
