Rejected that the petitioner is in custody for 506 days. It has further been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has a five years son and the principal accused happens to be the husband. So far as the present petitioner is concerned, her involvement in the present offence is hardly made out to detain her further. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner was working as a maid at the house of the deceased. Deceased was murdered and valuables from his house were removed. Recovery was from the house of Bittu Maity who is the husband of the present petitioner. The evidence of the case has commenced. Till date 5 witnesses have been examined. Prosecution would reconsider whether such huge number of witnesses are required for proving

the case.

I have taken into account the overall circumstances and the complicity of the present petitioner considering the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to release the petitioners. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M)529 of 2026 is rejected. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
