Relying upon a notification issued by the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal being no. 301EMP/M-10/2000 dated August 21, 2002, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the concerned authority on 28th January, 2022 for enlistment of her name in the exempted category as a member of the landloser family.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that her representation dated 28th January, 2022 has not been considered as yet. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the concerned authority, being the 3rd respondent herein, to consider the representation at the earliest. Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 28th January, 2022 within a period of two months from the

date of communication of this order, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
