No. 29 CHC REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 798 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Farakka Police Station Case No. 97 of 2022 dated 31.03.2022 under Sections 353/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/ 4 of the E.S. Act.

And In Re : Sarjahan Sk @ Biki @ Sahajan Sk ...... petitioner Mr. Sandip Chakraborty, Mr. Kaustav Das ....for the petitioner Mr. Ranabir Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Mainak Gupta ....for the State There are statements recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code which states that the petitioner was involved in the incident of hurling bombs to police personnel. Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail is rejected and C.R.M.(A) 798 of 2023 is dismissed.
