Mr. Pallav Chatterjee Mr. Monajit Chakraborty ...for the petitioner Mr. Sanjay Saha Mr. Raju Mondal ...for the respondent nos.2-4 It has been pointed out by the learned advocate for the Corporation that there is a typographical error in the penultimate paragraph at page 4 of the said order dated 26th February, 2026.

The penultimate paragraph at page 4 of the order dated 26th February, 2026 is extracted hereinafter "It is however, made clear that this extension has been granted considering the peculiar facts of the case on hand and the same shall be treated as a precedent".

The aforesaid paragraph shall be substituted by the following paragraph "It is however, made clear that this extension has been granted considering the peculiar facts of the case on hand and the same shall not be treated as a precedent".

It is further submitted by the learned Advocate for the Corporation that the portal through which the deposit shall be made is inoperative at present and some time is required to make the same operational. He further submits that the time to deposit the amount as indicated in the notice dated March 5, 2025 be extended till March 24, 2026.

In view of the submission made by Mr. Saha, the petitioner will be at liberty to deposit the amount as indicated in the notice dated March 5, 2025 on or before March 24, 2026 as a last chance.

The order dated 26th February, 2026 stands modified only to the extent as indicated hereinbefore. Other portions of the said order shall remain unaltered.
