1. On the basis of the recommendation letter dated 18th January, 2024 issued in favour of the writ petitioner/respondent no.1 for the post of Assistant Professor in Raja Narendralal Khan Women's College (Autonomous), the appeal and the application are disposed of.

2. The earlier letter of recommendation in favour of the Hijli College is returned in Court to the learned Counsel representing the appellants.

3. It is needless to mention that the College authority shall act on the basis of the said recommendation.

4. A photocopy of the recommendation letter dated 18th January, 2024 is kept with the record.

5. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

6. The Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
