Affidavit-of-service filed be kept with the record. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that in spite of the case being initiated in the year 2012, till date the prosecution evidence is continuing.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of the case.

Be that as it may, having regard to the fact that the case is eight years old, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 7th Court, Alipore to fix date at least every month in respect of the proceedings so that the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 467 of 2018 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with the necessary formalities.
