Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated in the criminal proceeding. He, therefore, refers to an order dated September 25, 2020 passed in CRM 7179 of 2020, wherein two of the accused were granted bail. Learned Advocate appearing for the State refers to the case diary and the statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that, the name of the petitioner transpires from the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having considered the case diary, given the nature of allegations and the statement made under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRM 1865 of 2021 is dismissed accordingly.
