Mr. Naba Kumar Das, Mr. Pathik Bandhu Banerjee ..for the CESC/Respondents Learned counsel for the respondent/CESC has submitted that the grievance raised by the appellant in the writ petition does not survive now because the private respondent therein has voluntarily surrendered his electricity connection in the meanwhile on 17th December, 2019.

The written instruction received by the respondent no.1 in this regard is taken on record. We take the subsequent development on record and dismiss the appeal as infructuous, however, with liberty to the appellant to apply for revival of the appeal, in case, if the above fact is found to be incorrect.
