Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have been served and affidavit-of-service shall be filed by tomorrow.

The Bank is aggrieved by the fact that Gariahat Police Station has not provided assistance for the purpose of taking physical possession of secured assets of one M/s. Rajlakshmi Guinea Museum Jewellers Private Limited.

There is a request from the petitioner on 1st January, 2021 communicating the order of the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas dated 7th October, 2020.

In those circumstances, this Court directs the Officer-in-charge, Gariahat Police Station to fix a date within 30 days from receipt of a server copy of this order for taking physical possession of the said secured assets.

The Bank shall put in all necessary costs for police protection as may be to them.

With the aforesaid direction, the instant writ application shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
