The grievance of the petitioner is directed against inaction of the CESC Ltd. to take necessary steps in respect of an application for new electricity connection filed by the petitioner. On behalf of CESC Ltd., it is submitted that pursuant to an inspection carried out by them, they are ready and willing to provide a fresh electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner upon compliance with all necessary formalities.

In view of the Report filed by the CESC Ltd., WPA 4331 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the CESC Ltd. to provide on electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner in accordance with law and after compliance with all necessary formalities. The above exercise would

be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of passing of this order.
