This is misadventure on the part of a nationalised bank and should never have been filed in the first place.

Pursuant to an order dated 5 March 2026 passed by this Court, the officials of the Bank of Baroda are present.

Their presence is noted and dispensed with.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that by a communication dated 27 February 2026, the grievance against the respondent authorities no longer survives.

In view of the above, WPA 4302 of 2026 stands dismissed as infructuous.

It is an alarming state of affairs that public funds of Rs.1 crore approximately granted as far back 2009 were advanced to the respondent no.4 on the basis of worthless documents of title and the bank has now approached this Court to cover the misdeeds of their erstwhile officers.
