Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an unapproved teacher of Shree Jain Vidyalaya. The petitioner had made an application seeking approval as teacher at the said school. The school authorities made a prayer for such approval before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Kolkata on 03.10.2023. But, no response has been forthcoming.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if such a representation is pending, the same would be decided in accordance with law.

It appears that a representation by the school authorities before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Kolkata, dated 03.10.2023 is pending consideration. In view of the same, let the respondent no.3 consider and decide the said representation in accordance with law and at the earliest, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order by passing a reasoned

order. The respondent no.3 shall provide an opportunity of hearing to the concerned authorities.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
