1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Minor victim has corroborated the allegation of penetrative sexual assault.

3. In view of the aforesaid and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

5. Trial court is directed to conclude the trial at an early date following the mandate under section 35(2) of the POCSO Act. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
