Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner is complicit in the incident. He refers to the statements of the eye-witnesses and also statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He submits that prayer for bail of one co-accused standing on the same footing as that of the petitioner was turned down by this Hon'ble Court twice.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as appearing from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM(A) 1155 of 2022 is dismissed.
