Mr. Suddhadev Adak ... for the private respondents The petitioner complains that private respondents have assaulted her in connection with a land dispute. Medical reports have been annexed. Counsel for the private respondents submits that the petitioner has assaulted them through her men and agents.

Disputes are pending between the petitioner and private respondents regarding occupancy over a predecessor's property. The petitioner denies the same.

Counsel for the State submits that complaints have been lodged by the petitioner and the private respondents against one and another. FIR has been registered and the same has resulted in charge sheet.

This Court sees absolutely no inaction on the part of the police. Police have taken steps in accordance with law.

However, the Goghat Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace whatsoever in the area. The petitioner and the private respondents assure that they shall maintain peace and sort out their civil differences before the appropriate civil or statutory forum.

The report of the Goghat Police Station dated 22.03.2022 is taken on record.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
