Learned counsel for the State of West Bengal is present.

The present writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondents mainly the respondent no.

to consider the petitioner's application for registration which has been submitted on 28.03.2023.

It is further submitted that till date the application is pending and the respondent no. 2 and his men and agent are not taking any action on the said application and as such the petitioner is being prejudiced.

It also appears that the petitioner has submitted two reminders dated 27.02.2024 and 30.09.2024 but in spite of that the application which

was submitted on March, 2023 has not been considered till date.

Considering the materials on record and the relief prayed for the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no. 2 shall consider the application for registration of the trade union submitted by the petitioner on 28.03.2023 within a period of 60 days from the date of communication of this order, and dispose of the same by granting an opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merit of the case or the legality of the claim of the petitioner.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the Trial Court at once.
