The warrant of arrest so issued on 13.10.2022 in Execution Case being No.21/2018 in connection with CC No.147/2014 by the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Hooghly, Chinsurah is without any authority and as such the same is quashed.

It is surprising that the warrant of arrest was issued against the petitioner though the petitioner is a consumer in this case. The proceedings are pending. The learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Hooghly, Chinsurah would scrutinise whether the opposite party till date has the authority to enter and implement the agreement which was proposed.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 646 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
