Mr. Prasanta Bishal Mr. Jannat Ul Firdous ...for the Petitioner This is an application wherein the petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the G.R. case no. 242 of 2023, presently pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barasat under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, it appears that the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and if it is allowed, the opposite parties will have no cause to prejudice and therefore the service of copy of application upon the opposite parties is hereby dispensed with. Considering submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, it appears that the prayer made by the petitioner is justified and required to be allowed for the ends of justice. Thus, CRR 894 of 2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the above-mentioned G.R. case no. 242 of 2023 and to make his best effort to come to a logical conclusion at the earliest preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing.
