Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. None appears for the petitioner. However, learned advocate for the State is present.

Petitioner approached this Court for registration of FIR against the private respondent nos. 6 and 7 under the provisions of Indian Penal Code and other applicable laws.

State has submitted a report which reflects that a long standing matrimonial dispute is existing between the petitioner and the private respondent no.6. Over such dispute, a case has already been registered being Belghoria P.S. Case No. 275 of 2022. The police authorities conducted an enquiry in respect of the accusations made by the present petitioner and were of the opinion that the same was with ulterior motives. So far as the petitioner is concerned, he is already an accused in the case registered by Belghoria Police Station both under the Indian Penal Code offence as well as the Special Act.

Having considered the time period which has lapsed in the meantime, I do not find any scope to interfere with the grievance of the petitioner. If the petitioner has material in his possession, he would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court for appropriate remedies.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 4540 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
