The present revisional application has been preferred for expediting the proceedings being C. Case No. 32 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bongaon which is under the provisions of Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. Records reflect that till date, exchange of affidavits of assets and liabilities is not completed.

Accordingly, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate that within three months from date, the exchange of affidavits of assets and liabilities should be completed. The learned Magistrate would thereafter consider the prayer under Section 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, if any pending. The learned Magistrate thereafter would fix at least one date in a month for the purposes of the present case so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 718 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
