For the State Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears from the report that the defacto complainant shall settle the dispute between the parties amicably on receipt of the amount paid by him to the petitioners for purchase of the flat. The de facto complaint is present in Court and a bank draft of Rs.19,07,500/- is made over to him by the petitioners. On receipt and verification of the same, the defacto complainant submits that he does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

Since the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled, this Court is of the view that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise.

G.R. case no. 3572 of 2024 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas be quashed. The revisional application is disposed of.

Consequently CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of.
