The State of West Bengal and others It is seen from the order dated February 08, 2017, passed by a coordinate Bench, that the writ petition had appeared before the said Bench repeatedly but none appeared for the petitioner, nor was any request for adjournment sought.

Accordingly, the matter was directed to go out of the list of the said Bench.

Even today, when the matter is called on for hearing, none appears for the parties.

Hence, it transpires that the petitioner is no longer interested to proceed with the matter. Accordingly, WPA No. 1853 of 2016 is dismissed for default without any order as to costs.
