The petitioner is aggrieved by a call for social boycott at the instance of the Block Development Officer, Sahid Matangini Development Block communicated by the Prodhan of Balluk-II Gram Panchayat.

The said issue has been dealt with by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.A. No. 4177 of 2022 by an order dated 28th September, 2022. The subsequent event is that the Block Development Officer, Sahid Matangini Development Block has ordered that the petitioner's life should not be disturbed by the Prodhan, of Balluk-II Gram Panchayat.

In that view of the matter, in the event of any obstruction by the villagers to the peaceful living of the petitioner, petitioner may make complaint before the Tamluk Police Station.

The Officer-in-charge, Tamluk Police Station shall take appropriate steps in that regard.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
