Leave is granted to correct the number of Fake Indian Currency Notes mentioned at page 4 of the petition. The petitioner is in custody for four hundred days and prays for bail.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been wrongly implicated. Charge sheet has been submitted. His further detention is not necessary.

The State refers to the case diary and opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the material in the case diary. It, prima facie, appears that Fake Indian Currency Notes were recovered from the possession of the petitioner who was trying to make payment at a meat shop with such fake currency.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has, prima facie, been dealing in fake currency notes and considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as material in the case diary, we are of the view that though charge sheet has been submitted, it is not a fit case where the petitioner can be granted bail at this stage.

Accordingly, CRM 1927 of 2021 is dismissed.
