Biswas ... for the private respondent(s) Re The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the representations which were accepted by the police authorities were not acted upon and the petitioners have been suffering both in respect of worshipping and also in cultivating of their lands.
So far as the information which were furnished before the police authorities are concerned, Mogra P.S. Case No. 614 of 2024 was registered for investigation.
The report submitted by the State reflects that number of criminal cases are
pending inter se the parties.
Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that they have been granted bail and in respect of dispute of the property, a title suit is pending before the jurisdictional civil court.
Having considered the nature of the dispute complained of, I am of the view that in order to establish their right and/or domain in the property concerned, the petitioners would approach the appropriate civil court for necessary remedies.
So far as the police authorities are concerned, they have taken steps by maintaining law and order and would, in future, also take necessary steps to ensure that there is no breach of the peace and tranquility taking place as also no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioners and the private respondents.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4461 of 2025 is disposed of.
Pending application, if any, is also disposed of.
