1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner challenges non-consideration of his candidature for the post of Assistant Teacher in the recruitment process conducted for the year 2009 and the interview whereof conducted in the year 2014.

3. The instant writ petition is hopelessly barred by the delay and laches.

4. However, Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner did not come within the zone of consideration.

5. Without making any observations on the merits of the submissions of the parties, this Court is of the view that the writ petition ought not been entertained ten years after the expiry of the selection process.

6. Hence, W.P.A. No. 4533 of 2024 is dismissed.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
