The District Magistrate & District Programme Coordinator, MGNREGA, Purba Bardhaman is directed to pass a reasoned order on the appeal preferred by the petitioners dated September 5, 2022.

It appears from the records that a hearing was given to the petitioners on September 29, 2022. Despite having concluded the hearing, it is alleged that the final order in the appeal has not been passed.

As long time has lapsed since the hearing, this court deems it fit that a further hearing should be given to the appellants and thereafter a reasoned order dealing with each and every contention of the appellants, should be passed and communicated.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
