The contempt application was filed alleging wilful violation of the orders of this Court dated September 16, 2020 and October 9, 2020.

Today, the learned Advocate for the Howrah Municipal Corporation has furnished an order dated September 22, 2021 by which a direction has been issued upon the person responsible for demolition of the unauthorised portions. In my opinion, there has been compliance of the order of this Court.

The contempt application is disposed of. Contempt proceedings are dropped.

The petitioners will at liberty to move the appropriate forum, if they are dissatisfied with the order. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
