Mr. Amal Kr. Sen, learned counsel for the State has placed instructions of the Cyber Crime P.S. Jhargram dated June 11, 2023, addressed to the learned State Advocate.

It appears that in terms of the order of the High Court dated December 9, 2022, a team headed by SIT, Cyber Crime was looking 4G and 5G tower cheating cases. Thereafter by a D.O. No. 1307 dated May 12, 2023, the Superintendent of Police, Jhargram has formed the SIT in terms of the memo of the law cell dated May 3, 2023 issued by the Director General & Inspector General of Police, West Bengal directing formation of a SIT for each district.

Accordingly, the investigation into the subject FIR being Cyber Crime PS, Jhargram Case No. 6 of 2022 dated 24.05.2022 is transferred to the

SIT headed by the DSP (D&T), Jhargram formed on May 12, 2023, if not already done.

The investigation into the subject FIR may be conducted as expeditiously as possible.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The instructions of the Cyber Crime PS, Jhargram dated 11.06.2023 is kept with the record.

7.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
