In view of the report filed by the State disclosing the cause of death in the postmortem report as "death was due to the effects of deceased conditions involving vital organs of the body" and the nature of the injury which does not appear to be grave and is not the cause of death, we do not find any reason to proceed further with the writ petition.

However, we make it clear that the police in controlling the mob should be careful and ensure that no brutal force is applied causing grievous hurt or injury to the protestors following the SOP.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
