Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for more than the statutory period of time. Charge sheet has not been submitted.

Learned counsel for the prosecution produces the Case Diary and opposes the prayer.

It appears that the petitioner is in custody for about 61 days. Charge sheet has not been submitted as yet. The petitioner is entitled to statutory bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.

The petitioner, Mohon Shaw @ Mohan Shaw be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate,

Chandannagar, Hooghly subject to condition that he shall meet the investigating officer once a week till submission of charge sheet and he shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever..

The application for bail, being CRM (SB) 26 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of.
