This revisional application has been filed praying for expeditious disposal of Land Requisition and Acquisition Execution Case No.12 of 2018 pending before the learned L.A. Judge (3rd Additional District Judge), Barasat, 24-Parganas (North).

It is submitted that reference case was disposed of on January 25, 2018 and the learned Court passed the award on the reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act. The said award was put into execution on June 11, 2018 and since then the execution case has not been proceeded due to adjournments granted to the opposite party. It also appears that an application for attachment is also pending. Having considered the records, this Court is of the opinion that justice would be sub-served if the learned Court below is directed to dispose of the pending applications along

with the execution case expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim before the learned Executing Court and the learned Executing Court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

The learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioners is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon the opposite party and/or the learned Advocate for the opposite party appearing in the learned Court below along with a server copy of this order within a week from date. The revisional application is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
