It appears therefrom that the arrears of 5th Pay Commission could not be disbursed in favour of the petitioner nos. (5A), Maya Rani Sen, widow of Late Gouranga Sen and (14) Suniti Das as the above petitioners expired during the pendency of the contempt application.

The respondent authorities are directed to take steps for releasing the arrears of 5th Pay Commission in favour of the heirs of the deceased petitioners upon submission of necessary documents from the heirs. The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
