This writ petition assails a letter dated February 18, 2025, whereby the petitioner's service in DCB Bank has been terminated and his employment with the said Bank severed. The writ petition is evidently not maintainable inasmuch as the same is directed against an action of a private Bank and there is no public element involved in the present writ petition that may persuade this Court to exercise its writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. (See, S. Shobhas.-Muthoot Finance Ltd., (2025) SCC online SC 177 and Federal Bank-vs.-Sagar Thomas, (2003) 10 SCC 733). Since this writ petition is not maintainable, the same is not entertained.

WPA No. 4445 of 2025 stands dismissed without any order as to costs.

Dismissal of the writ petition shall, however, not prevent the petitioner from taking recourse to any other remedy that may be available to him in accordance with law.
