There are rival claims to title over the property in question. While the petitioners claim title on the basis of the record of rights, the respondent nos. 6 to 8 claim ownership, possession and title on the basis of some purchase deeds. The said deeds have been produced before the court, in support of such contention.

Under such circumstances, the court is of the opinion that the remedy of the petitioners would be before the appropriate civil court. The police authorities are directed to ensure that the dispute which is to be resolved by a civil court, is not escalated to such an extent that there is every

chance of breach of peace and law and order problems.

This court has not expressed any opinion on the right, title and interest of the respective parties. The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
