Mr. Animesh Mukherjee, Md. Ali Ahasan ...for the petitioners Ms. Amrita Panja Moulick ...for the State The petitioners complain that the private respondents are seeking to encroach upon their land and disturb their peaceful possession.

The petitioners claim to be the recorded owners of the land in question. They have complained to the Nalhati Police Station, Birbhum against the private respondents but in vain.

A report dated 23.03.2022 has been filed before this Court by the Nalhati Police Station, which is taken on record.

The Court is of the view that the disputes between the petitioners and the private respondents are purely civil in nature and appropriate civil proceedings may be taken out.

The Nalhati Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
