1. The petitioner says that he is in custody for nine months. Charge sheet was submitted in December, 2024. Charge has not yet been framed. On the ground of delay, he prays for bail.

2. We see no delay at all. Charge sheet was submitted on December 30, 2024. As pointed out by learned State advocate, charge was framed on March 10, 2025. Next date fixed for recording of evidence is April 08, 2025.

3. Commercial quantity of Codeine Mixture was seized from this petitioner. In view of the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The application for bail is, thus, dismissed.

5. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

6. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
