Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the Inspector-in-Charge, Balurghat Police Station, no steps have been taken.

On the other hand, learned advocate for the State submits that it is an admitted position that Balurghat Police Station Case No.47 of 2025 dated 24.01.2025 has been registered for investigation and on conclusion of investigation charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Subsequently, proceedings have been drawn up under Section 126 of the BNSS.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that a second appeal is pending. The dispute

complained of is a civil dispute and unnecessarily police cases are being registered for creating dominion over the property.

Be that as it may, since at the relevant point of time police authorities had taken steps, I direct that if fresh inconveniences so arise, police authorities would ensure that there is no violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4480 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
