1. Parties are represented through their respective learned counsels.

2. Mr. Chakraborty, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, places reliance on the communication No.246(2)-UDMA-27012 (11)/77/2025-LMNR SEC-Dept. of UDMA dated 19.03.2026 and submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, the concerned Department has already directed the private respondents to put forth his stand and, therefore, this petition may be disposed of by directing the concerned Department to reach to a logical end.

3. Sri De, learned counsel for the State has no objection to this innocuous prayer.

4. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of by directing the Special Secretary to the Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, which has issued the communication dated 19.03.2026 to take a final decision after hearing the private respondents herein. The outcome shall be communicated to the parties.

5. With the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on merits, petition is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
